I started writing when I joined a newspaper during my college days. It was completely student-run (yes, me included), a little crazy at times because I wasn’t getting paid for it, and 100% satisfying. I reported my first exclusive when the Ramjas protests broke out (check it out) at the University of Delhi. No wonder I joined a startup media house as a correspondent right out of college.
That was before I discovered copywriting. And all the greats in the industry. A few words can build a brand and sell crores of product? Magic.
Since then I have worked on brand-side and agency both, building different muscles each time that helped me sell a narrative better. If you haven’t already, check out my work. I’ve also ghost-written two books.
During my personal time, I enjoy reading fantasy (my favourite author, currently, is Brandon Sanderson), fiction and a little bit of history (just the Dalrymple kind, thank you). I am a huge country and heavy metal fan. At the same time, I also chill out to Zubeen Garg, Papon, Kishore Kumar, and Hariharan.
