Tango is a third-party, cross platform messaging application software. It has a vibrant social community with over 500 million users worldwide. The brief was to develop a campaign for the Bangalore market to drive up their app downloads while promoting their features.
From Strategy to Communication
Research showed us that we live in a world that is constantly connected, yet people are increasinlgy feeling alone. Young users are looking for places where they can feel seen, entertained and part of a community. Therefore, live-streaming platforms are no longer just entertainment apps but digital communities people go to connect.
This is where Tango fits in.
We positioned Tango as the default social destination in everyday moments, whether that’s after a bad day at work, a boring evening or simply when they want to let loose.
Campaing line – “See you on Tango”
This line treated Tango like a hangout spot, somewhere you naturally go when life happens. And this allowed us to create relatable, situation-led creatives that tied back to the central idea, that is, Tango is where you go to feel connected.
